As a part of my graduation project with Design Station, a Home Textiles Company, I made a series of hand drawn illustrations and converted them into prints, to be used in making cushions, curtains etc. The artworks are inspired by the walled city of Cartagena, Colombia.
All of these artworks were drawn and painted by hand on paper, and then scanned and finished digitally.
I modified the above print with more flowers and other geometric elements (as shown below) to make an engineered print for a cushion 30 x 60 cm in size.
And below is my favourite part of the collection, the arched curtain pair, an easy way to turn a mundane door into a dreamy arched gate with blooming bougainvillea falling over it.
